Barefoot Landing
Located along the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach, Barefoot Landing naturally combines nature with the fun and excitement of shopping, dining, entertainment and special events for the entire family.
A 10-15 minute drive from Robbers Roost Villas. We go for dinner, shopping and fireworks in the summer. They also have face painting, live entertainment, boat rides, and one of the largest reptile exhibits in the world.
Try Umberto's or the Flying Fish restaurants.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
The Myrtle Beach area's new 1.2 mile-long Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade traverses from the 14th Avenue to 2nd Avenue Piers in Myrtle Beach. Throughout the summer, this popular destination is home to festivals and events, including Ocean Boulevard's Hot Summer Nights located at Plyler Park in the heart of the downtown area. Always a family favorite, the boardwalk provides oceanfront views of the pristine beach line and has numerous shops and restaurants along its path.
Located 25-30 minutes from Robbers Roost Villas.
Try the nearby Mount Atlanticus miniature golf or Bandito's for beachside Mexican food and music.

Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach has become one of South Carolina's favorite travel destinations. It is the largest entertainment venue of its kind in the state and features unique specialty shops, exceptional dining, award-winning attractions and nightlife. Here you and your family can enjoy award-winning attractions that range from a renowned aquarium, to live entertainment theater shows and carnival style rides, which are all situated along the boardwalk surrounding Lake Broadway.
Located about 25 minutes from Robbers Roost Villas. We like to visit frequently for the shopping, dining, movie theater, summer fireworks and attractions like the acquarium and WonderWorks.

Shows & Shopping
Go see one of the great family shows like MagicQuest, Medieval Times or Pirates Voyage or check out the national recording artists at the House of Blues, the Alabama Theatre, or the Palace Theater. The Carolina Opry and Legends Theatre offer great Broadway-style shows as well. We particularly like Pirates Voyage for a fun dinner/show experience with the kids (20 minutes from Robbers Roost Villas).
In addition to Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach are numerous other great shopping destinations like the Tanger Outlets (only 15 minutes from Robbers Roost Villas), Market Commons or Coastal Grand Mall (both about 35 minutes drive).

Day Trips & Golfing
Within a short drive of as little as 15 minutes or up to 2.5 hours you can experience a number of other great area destinations first-hand, such as Calabash, N.C., Pawley's Island, Murrell's Inlet, and Georgetown. We particularly recommend a day trip to Charleson, S.C. (get a horse-drawn carriage tour through the old town) or Wilmington, N.C. (get a water taxi to the WWII battleship). For a dinner excursion from Robbers Roost Villas try any of the great restaurants along the dockside restaurant row in Murrell's Inlet.
Want to golf? Choose from over 87 premier designer golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area. The challenging sport is yours amid the many mossy draped oaks and natural flora of select courses, some of which are built upon former rice plantations. Enjoy golf at one of the many resorts designed by such well known architects as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Greg Norman. Regardless of your level of play, there are good options in the Myrtle Beach area.
